Really busy day at work today and I am just sitting down to start writing my reports. When I am "in charge" of the engine I have to write a report for every call we go on which can be time consuming.
Tomorrow I have to present a class to 4 officers who all out rank me. The fire service is very rank driven and we generally teach down and not up. This is going to be a great challenge but could be very rewarding if it goes well. At this point (1:22 AM) I have not even started my presentation so it will be a long night.
I don't think I'll be able to get y'all from school tomorrow so that stings a bit. When I get home I'll be tired but will do my best to be the Dad you deserve.
